What is Qbase?

It puts forward the philosophy that we should always look at the chaos in the universe as if we were watching a movie frame. It addresses our standard of looking at events in our lives. It suggests that we should evaluate events in gray, not black and white. We have emotions, what we feel, different things we experience every day, but when viewed from the other end of the universe, our emotions are not seen. The only thing that is visible is that day begins and ends. If we look at our own world as if we were looking from the other end of the universe, we can understand the feelings we experience as good or bad. During the process in which we take part in the universe, we can fully experience every emotion. When we constantly make an effort to escape from experiences that we call bad or when we force ourselves to have good experiences, we try to control our emotions. The result brings us artificial emotions. We should do what we have to do. We should not interfere with the scenario in which our lives take place, we should only allow all kinds of emotions to flow in the frames in which our lives take place. We should look at our lives as if we were looking at a frame and take part in every corner of a life.

Escapism

It is the individual’s tendency to escape from their current reality and take refuge in their imagination. This represents a search for escape from the troubles, stresses and responsibilities of life. It can be achieved through various means such as movies, books, video games or getting lost in a dream world. From a philosophical perspective, escapism can be seen as an individual’s attempt to escape existential concerns. In Jean-Paul Sartre’s existentialism, it can be interpreted as an individual’s attempt to escape the weight of freedom and the responsibilities of their own existence. In this context, escapism can be criticized as a form of denying human freedom and authentic life.

Aufzug

The flow of life, like the constant rise and fall of an elevator, contains the ups and downs of existence. The events we encounter in the flow of our lives are a tool that leads us to rise or fall in a vertical direction. This metaphor reflects the natural cycle of successes and failures, joys and sorrows, hopes and disappointments that an individual encounters on his or her life journey. Each rise carries the individual to a higher level of awareness and experience, while each fall offers an opportunity for deep inner questioning and self-renewal. As in Nietzsche’s understanding of amor fati, accepting these ups and downs is embracing the integrity and meaning of life. In this journey where the elevator moves continuously, each floor offers the opportunity to discover a new dimension of existence and integrates the individual with an ever-changing life experience.

Spectrum

It refers to the separation of light into different wavelengths and the color scale created by this separation. From a philosophical perspective, the spectrum can be thought of as a metaphor that simultaneously represents the multiplicity and unity of the universe. The fact that white light is refracted by a prism and appears as different colors shows that although each color has a unique identity, it is actually part of a single whole. This is a reflection of the unity that lies behind the apparent diversity, as in Plato’s world of ideas. The spectrum also symbolizes the limitations of human perception and how the same reality is experienced differently by different perceptions. Each color has its own meaning and effect, but when they all come together, they form a universal harmony, just as individual beings are part of the cosmic order.

Opportunism

It can be defined as the pursuit of momentary advantages by an individual or a group, ignoring all moral or ethical rules in order to maximize their personal interests. In philosophical terms, opportunism can be considered the dark side of pragmatism. This approach means that the principles of utilitarianism are carried to extremes and that the individual disregards the rights of others, social norms and universal ethical values for the sake of his own interests. This attitude, which finds an echo in Machiavelli’s principles, reflects the individual’s desire to protect his own interests and gain power while putting the concepts of virtue and justice into the background. In this context, opportunism can be criticized as an attitude that leads to the weakening of social ties and moral corruption.

Ordo ab Chao

“Ordo Ab Chao” is a Latin phrase meaning “Order out of Chaos” and refers to the emergence of order out of chaos and disorder. In a philosophical context, this concept has had a profound influence on cosmogony and ontology. Chaos represents the initial, limitless and formless state, while order symbolizes the harmonious and meaningful formation of the universe. This idea is evident in the Hermetic and Gnostic traditions, as well as in Hegel’s dialectical process, where the clash of thesis and antithesis results in a higher synthesis. “Ordo Ab Chao” also symbolizes man’s search for a meaningful existence by overcoming his inner chaos, thus implying a continuous process of transformation and development on both an individual and a societal level.

Conjecture

It means a guess or assumption made without definitive evidence and, from a philosophical perspective, plays an important role in the process of reaching knowledge. This concept is a reflection of man’s effort to understand and explain reality despite his limited perception and knowledge. As in Descartes’ methodical skepticism, it can be considered as a stopover on the way to reaching definitive knowledge. Conjecture is also a fundamental element in Popper’s scientific method, emphasizing that hypotheses must be verifiable or falsifiable. In a philosophical context, conjecture represents the creative power of the human mind and the desire to make sense of the unknown, while at the same time revealing the uncertainties in the search for knowledge and the necessity of living with these uncertainties. This uncertainty feeds man’s curiosity and research drive and becomes an important source of motivation in the journey to understand the complexity of the universe.
